Located on the Vatican side of the Tiber River in the heart of Rome, this
beautiful hotel offers some of the most comfortable rooms in Rome. Built in
a quiet residential neighborhood, the hotel is a 20-minute walk from St.
Peter's and a 15-minute walk from the Spanish Steps. Scattered throughout
the area are many shops, restaurants and a daily outdoor market.
The hotel reflects a high standard of detailed construction with soundproof
rooms (from noise inside and out), smart lights (automatically turn on when
guests enter rooms), as well as all modern conveniences. Rooms have been
recently redone. Deluxe and suite type accommodations have aromatherapy
amenities. Linen sheets and children's amenities are standard throughout.
The Standard rooms are unusually spacious, each with an individual marble
entry foyer. For families, the only connecting rooms are a double
connecting to a single. Two floors are reserved as non-smoking.
There is a rooftop terrace (no view) where drinks and snacks can be served
in warm weather. It is also available for private parties. Breakfast is
served in a glass covered lobby atrium which is a nice feature of the
hotel. Although the hotel has no restaurant, all day dining is available
through both the bar and room service. There is a nicely equipped fitness
room available to guests; meeting rooms are also available and garage
parking (for a fee) is adjacent to the hotel. JDB guests are exceptionally
well looked after.
