This has become a very "hot" five-star in Rome! If it were any closer to where the gladiators prepared to go to the Colosseum, it would have to be IN the Colosseum! What a transformation it has undergone!

Formerly called the Gladiatori, the hotel has been totally renovated with a fresh contemporary look in its 16 rooms and suites. Rooms are really gorgeous and every detail is done with great taste and style. Many rooms have a direct view of the Colosseum. Housekeeping is excellent. In fact, the entire staff from the doorman who greets guests upon arrival to the porter who takes the bags out upon departure do a great job of looking after their guests.

For families, there are connecting rooms at the end of a hall that can be closed off for families. Rooms are very quiet due to noise abating windows. All modern in-room services are available. Beds are divine! Bathrooms are marble and well thought out, and some have a window with a view of the Colosseum.

The top floor of the hotel accommodates a lounge/bar and the hotel's fabulous restaurant Aroma. They are hoping to earn a Michelin Star so that gives one an idea of the level of service, presentation and food quality. And, of course, there is the most spectacular view of the Coloseum. People have come here for many different occasions – to propose marriage, for a baptism party, birthdays, anniversaries – just to have the spectacular view be a part of their celebrations. Because the restaurant is glass enclosed, dining there takes place year round.
